Positive Thoughts + Oh So Ombre

I was in need of a stack of cards, and couldn't decide which paper from the Oh So Ombre paper I wanted to use.  So, I used a strip from each color.

I cut 3/4" strips of the Oh So Ombre paper and trimmed them to different lengths.

Bermuda Bay - 5 1/4" long

Rococo Rose - 5" long

Granny Apple Green - 4" long

Blackberry Bliss - 3 3/4" long

I adhered them to a Basic White panel (4" x 5 1/4") in a mini weave fashion, and stamped the greeting from the Positive Thoughts Stamp set in Black

Using the Positive Thoughts Stamp Set and the coordinating Nature's Thoughts Dies, I cut and adhered the following:

Foliage - stamped with Shaded Spruce on Vellum Cardstock

Flower - stamped on Basic White with Rococo Rose

Butterfly - stamped on Basic White with Blackberry Bliss

      

The panel was then adhered to a Basic White card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

     

Lastly, a touch of Wink of Stella on the flower!

Valentine's Day Love You Always Treat Box

This beautiful treat box was designed to match the Valentine’s Day card we made in January’s Card Class.  

It came together super quick and easy using the Love You Always Treat Box (154285) from the Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalog.

This month's card class uses a beautifully foiled specialty paper that will be available Jan 5th in the Jan/Jun 2021 Mini Catalog -- the Love You Always Specialty DSP (154280).  I've used the Rococo Rose version here to create a beautiful Valentine's Day card.

A Step Up

Making a few small changes to a card design can easily take it a step up.  Here are three easy card designs using the Snowman Season Stamp Set.  Each one stepped up just it little bit more.

The first card simply uses stamps, ink and paper to create a super cute card. 

Card #1

The second card incorporates a layer of cardstock, lifted with dimensionals, and the addition of rhinestone gems for a little sparkle.  The snowman was also colored with Stampin' Blends.

Card #2

The last card has an added layer of Night of Navy Cardstock, and Night of Navy ribbon to further accent the card.

Card #3

As you can see, it's super easy to go a step up with your card designs.
