Copying Another Design using the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper

Check out this cute card using the Awesome Otters Stamp Set and the Simply Marbleous Designer Series Paper (DSP).  It's so playful and the DSP really reminds me of flowing water.

The look of water you get from this sheet of Designer Series Paper got me thinking about other possibilities.  So, I pulled out the Sailing Home Stamp Set and coordinating dies and got to work creating this version of the card.

Simply Marbleous DSP + Sailing Home Stamp Set

I substituted the 149457 - Sailing Home Stamp Set for the Awesome Otters Stamp Set, and used the coordinating 149576 - Smooth Sailing Dies instead of the Garden Dies.

I also substituted 146988 - Soft Sea Foam Cardstock for the Granny Apple Green Cardstock.

The sail boats were stamped using Basic Gray instead of the Tuxedo Black.

And, instead of using Blends, I used the Basic Gray watercolor pencil from the 141709 - Watercolor Pencils set to color in the boat.  I also added 141897 - Wink of Stella on the sails to give them a nice shimmer.
