I recently attended a funeral viewing with family members. It reminded me of my own experiences, and how much the support of those around you can help ease the pain of loss. Those feelings don't go away overnight. It takes time (years even). If you know someone who has experienced loss, please send them a card and let them know you're thinking of them (even if it's been a few months or more).
